Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

When you utilize the DocConverter service, you are acknowledging that you agree to and are obligated by the terms and conditions specified in the Terms of Service provided below. These terms are applicable to the entire website and all API usage. ForceKeys, located in Algiers (Algeria), operates this service. We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms of Use whenever necessary. Any alterations will be prominently displayed at the top of this page along with the date of modification.

Allowed Usage

This service provides the capability to convert and modify files of various file formats. The service is accessible through a web interface, API, and mobile applications. By using the DocConverter service, you are agreeing to abide by the policies and restrictions set forth, including but not limited to the maximum conversion time for conversions performed using the service, the maximum number of files that can be uploaded by a user, and the maximum file size that can be converted. It is strictly prohibited to circumvent these policies in any way, such as creating multiple accounts.

You are also prohibited from reverse-compiling or decompiling, analyzing, reverse-engineering, reverse-assembling or disassembling, unlocking, or attempting to discover the source code or underlying algorithms of DocConverter or the DocConverter service.

Furthermore, you are only allowed to use the DocConverter API as an integral part of your software that adds significant value and substantial functionality. It is explicitly stated that you are not permitted to offer a standalone raw file conversion service using the DocConverter API.

Plans

Purchasing a prepaid plan enables you to prolong the permitted usage of the service. All payments are non-refundable and require a one-time prepaid payment. Once we receive your payment, the prepaid plan will be activated on your account. The credits within your plan will remain valid indefinitely unless you decide to terminate your account.

Payment terms

All payments must be made through a valid transaction using a recognized debit or credit card. Refunds will be granted solely at the discretion of the management. Our payment system ensures secure transactions through Paypal or Stripe. Detailed information about our pricing plans can be found on our pricing page. We offer two subscription options: monthly and yearly. Please note that if you choose to delete your account or if we terminate your account due to a violation of our terms and conditions, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

Availability of Service

We guarantee 99% uptime for our services. In the unlikely event that we do not meet this level of availability. In the event of non-compliance, you will be entitled to a refund.
To request a refund, you must provide a submission containing the dates and times of each claimed downtime occurrence, along with your request logs that describe the errors and validate the reported downtime.

Limitation of Liability

We prioritize data protection and therefore do not create backups of your files. Please be aware that while we strive to provide an error-free service, we cannot guarantee the safety of your files from damage, deletion, or loss. It is your responsibility to have a copy of all files, and DocConverter cannot be held accountable for any issues caused by files uploaded to our platform.

DocConverter holds no liability for any loss of use, data, goodwill, or profits, whether foreseeable or not, and disclaims any responsibility for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our service.

Termination

You have the option to close your account with DocConverter whenever you wish. However, please be aware that we reserve the right to terminate your account if you violate any terms of service, fail to make payments on time, or if required by law. Additionally, we may decide to close your account with a 30-day notice if it is no longer feasible for us to continue our business relationship for commercial reasons.

Please note that we may modify, update, or cease parts or the entirety of our service without any liability to you or any other party. In the event of discontinuing DocConverter entirely, we will provide you with a notification at least 30 days prior to termination.
